On a Personal Note.

Born and raised in Denmark, I immigrated to the United States at the age of eighteen, becoming a naturalized citizen some years later. Settling in Denton in 1978, I have come to enjoy and appreciate the creativity and diversity I find here.

My work in end-of-life care has heightened my appreciation for life and for living. Though I found my work deeply rewarding, it could also be heavy on the heart. It made me more conscious of the need to create and maintain balance in my life.

My spirit is nurtured and lifted with music and dance. I find peace tending my garden and being close to my animals. I share joy and laughter with people who are dear to me. My life has been blessed with a loving and supportive family and an amazing group of wonderful friends whom I treasure.

I am a happy woman
